Guardian fundamental Accounting was established in 1999.
I have a home based business due to chronic rheumatoid arthritis. My goal has always been to treat my clients as I would want to be treated and the more clients the more you make. I know they can be considered an old ideas but I believe in them. All clients are treated with respect no matter the income and my fees are affordable.
There are some clients who qualify for additional deductions or income that I assist them with filing the forms. I don't charge extra fees for any forms, reviewing or auditting. After all I did the work and it is part of my job to represent the clients with the CRA.
Since I was 10 (yes, 10) I was completing income taxes. That was before H&R Block even. Everyone had to do their own returns and mail them in. Later I started bookkeeping with what I later realized was a Babysitting Service I also started at 10.
I took a partial degree in accounting when I was 24 and finished it when I was 38. As my legs got worse, I tried other home based businesses and they were successful in their own way. The final decision was this company. I was GOOD with accounting and taxes, better than I was at the other attempts.
I choose not to accept property turnovers or companies that I would have ti file T3 and T5 as bookkeeping clients. There is too many hours and audits associated with these businesses.
The fees for personal taxes include all forms (eg: T5, T3, T4, T4A, T4AP, T4OAS and more) include the HST at a flat rate. Additional fees are charged for rental income, self employment, corporate and employment expenses. They are still reasonable rates.
My clients are across Canada from PEI to BC but most live in Ontario. Rarely does a client only come to see me one year only. Due to my pleasant personality, honersty and budsiness equipment they come back. EG: You can watch what I'm doing on the 40" TV screen.
Looking forward to meeting you.
